If you are working parent, teen parent, parent attending school, training or work related activity, some TANF Clients and Foster Parents, Northwest provide assistants thru YWCA Child Care Solution. If participant do not qualify for the YWCA, Northwest then will go off a sliding scale based on your income. We will meet with them to come up with a suitable compromise. It is our goal here at Northwest to make all of our programming affordable to those who wish to utilize our services.

Free Computer Classes:
Thanks to a grant from the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, Northwest Community Center will be offering free basic skills computer classes every 8 - 10 weeks. Classes teach the basic computer skills such as keyboarding, Microsoft Office 2003 suite, e-mail, and the Internet. Classes last for eight weeks and meet twice a week for two hours at a time. Call today to find out about our next round of computer classes!

Basketball Season:
The Northwest Boys & Girls Club is now registering teams for the up-and-coming youth basketball season. Teams are available at various age and skill levels. Call 815-490-0700 for details.

Bingo Jackpots Continue to Grow:
Northwest's always fun and exciting Saturday night bingo raffle jackpots continue to grow. Come join the fun each Saturday night at Northwest Community Center. Thousands of dollars in prize money given out each Saturday night. Bingo is also played at Northwest every Monday night. Sponsored by G.A.R. Gymnastics Booster Club.  Fun and big bucks at Northwest!!
